ReplyDeleteI have always wanted to spend some time wandering around La Conner but Old Man always just wants to get to Fairhaven or if leaving to get further before we stop.

One of my High School friends who I found out lives in Auburn... go figure..lol.. I don't think I knew her in High School.. because my friends were just on my block where I lived.. There was Colleen Palmer, The Gess boy, Mike and Nancy Hines, Kathy Waterson.. those were the ones I knew,, and hung around with at the end of my high school days.

The first one was La Puente High School, And my friends were Florence and her Sister and Mary who lived across the street from me. then my parents separated and my mom and I and the the 2 youngsters that my parents had came with us to Whittier,CA and I went to Sierra High School the second year of High School. when my parents got back together, we moved back to La Puente, and that is when I had those friends,, What a mess..LOL.. The last 2 years were at Nogales High School..
I have no idea who my friends were while living in Whittier.. But, I do know one thing.. we had assembly and we had no idea who was going to be there.. Till we all sat down and Bob Dylon came in and preformed for us... LOL.. that was in 1963/1964... Now that was a Great Day...LOL
