What an Exciting Evening..

The time was early afternoon,Saturday. Jenny woke up with a start.. her ears perked up and she looked at me in question...??

What was that sound? Listen closely.. what is it?? Jenny knows what it is... Its the sound of howling dogs, barking and whining dogs. That is what it is..... 

My next door neighbor's 2 dogs.. one a breed like Jenny Craig, and Poodle, both were howling and making all sorts of noise at their door. I opened my door to see if there was someone there that would be bothering them. No one was walking past the door... no one around.. AT ALL...

I went and knocked at the door thinking maybe Sharon (right side of me) was playing with her dogs and maybe making them howl.. but no.. she never came to the door. It was making Jenny very upset.. Well it was making me very upset.. To have to listen to those 2 dogs howling and crying for long periods of time is not right. And of course it was after the Leasing agent went home. 

At first I thought well let me see if Sharon's van is here,, So, I walked out to see that her van was parked. I then walked up here to the Computer room and no one was here. Then I went back down to the other Sharon's (left side of me). rang her rinky dink door bell.. its cute.. was thinking of getting one.. what the Hell.. Anyway she came to the door and I asked if Sharon was there.. And she said, no she went to evening services. I then told her about Sharon's Dogs howling and barking away for hours on end.. After all she and Sharon today went shopping, and was gone for a very long time.. all day long plus this evening.. 

I told the second Sharon about looking all over for Sharon the first all over the place I was worried about her. I thought maybe something had happened to her since her Van was still here. I found out that Sharon the first could not drive in the evenings., and her family came to pick her up for evening services.. 

That was after someone (the Maintenance Man) came up to the computer room to ask us in there if we lived in the back part of the building,,,well, I do I actually live in the courtyard.. Yes...living in another courtyard..LOL.... funny.,....

There was a lot of activity outside that I saw earlier up here. There were 2 fire trucks, and an ambulance. At the time I just thought someone had a heart attack,, or what ever emergency of some sort.. 

But that guy showed me where the apartment was, I walked down to the first floor where my apartment was.. Not even thinking it could have been those 2 women sitting at the computers upstairs.. they are both deaf... After I saw which apartment is was...just 2 doors down and on the other side of the hall way.. And then there came those 2 deaf women... and it was their apartment... They had left the Tea Kettle on the heat..and it ran out of water and started smoking ..and it started the smoke alarm off,, witch brought the fire department.... Those guys are getting more handsome as time goes by...hahahaa....

Anyway...there came First Sharon who was with Second Sharon, which was talking to my neighbor across from my apartment,which First Sharon does not like anymore because that women has taken to liking Jackie who lives next door to First Sharon..and it goes on and on... 

Second Sharon told First Sharon about me looking for her due to her dogs barking, and howling and all.. This is what both of them said to me.......................

Your just going to have to deal with it. Its only one day a week that my dogs do this... after all my dogs are just protecting me.. that is why they were doing that... 

I just wanted to tell both Sharon's They both are Full of Shit....I was told by Bonnie that if First Sharon's dogs bothered me, I was to let her know.. Because it is a rule that barking and whining dogs are not allowed ....

More Drama...

OK, so this is what is happening to Barbara....LOL.. After I was up here in the computer room.. went back down to my apartment took Jenny for a walk, and then called Reno Housing Authority... 

Well...... Seems that when I moved up to Seattle,WA. Reno,NV Housing Authority sent them allll my files... and something else. It was a notice that stated if Seattle Housing wanted to take over my complete file case.. or would they (Seattle) want Reno to keep it. That way at anytime I wanted to move,,, I would have to get permission from Reno Housing Authority to do it. Now Seattle had a certain amount of time to get that paperwork back to Reno,, and Guess what????????????????????? Seattle sat on it and may have forgotten about it. Because the woman at Reno Housing Authority Porting Department told me that all the paperwork, every last bit of information about me is in Seattle Housings hands as of................December 31,2011............Which means.......Seattle Housing is a Duffus..LOL... I'm sitting here not going to worry about it. 

David from Seattle Housing Porting Department told me that he had to speak to HIS Supervisor about all this .... Well,, it is a mess.... which they caused.....I'm sure not going to take responsibility for this mess up..

Interesting How we are being asked to invite

People we have already invited.... ?? wonder what that is all about?

Its so quiet right now in here.. although its always quiet in the hallways in this building... I'm going to have to walk down to the end of the Hallway and take pictures..and also I'm going to take my camera to each floor that has an activity and take a photo of it... to show everyone what there is to offer everyone who wants to move here..

Can you imagine to my surprise when I found out that there were only 32 apartments occupied at this time.. that is because these places are so Brand New.  But still to be only the 32 or so person to live here.. and I can't tell you how many apartments there are here.. Loads.. and they still have ones that are still being built.. I wonder if they did a survey as to the percentage of Senior Citizens that were in need of a place like this?

I only wish there was an easier way to get to the bus stop... We are on the corner of S. Lawrence St and 40th St and at the end of 40th St heading North.. it dead ends.. and it is nothing but weeds, and ruts where people on bikes or something have gone across.. the other side is an Elementary School, well, on the East side.. But maybe in the Summer it will be better to walk through.  And the wet maybe it will have dried up by then and not be so muddy... As it is.. I found an easier way home.. I get off the number 3 bus and walk South till the round a bout.. and turn east one block,, then all the way down that street (41st St) to Lawrence St. And then home.. 

So more Ranting and Raving...

This computer I'm using is unsecured.. because it is in a public place. And let me tell you... there are so many people who think and decide that this is their own personal computer.. they have their names all over it.. I have spent some time deleting their stuff off here... Just so I can use it.... I want that Modem to get here Please and fast... so I won't have to deal with these people in here any more... 

OH.. I thought it was really going to be nice living here.. Well,, when you have 2 Sharon's living on each side of you and both are disabled.. (Brain)....Can you imagine.. come knocking at my door at 6:55 AM this morning???? I should not have opened the door.. I am going to place a sign on my door telling anyone to NOT Knock at my door till after 9 AM... What the hell.. Sharon on the right of me wanted me to come over for Coffee... I had to tell her..... I don't drink coffee.. well she said.. I have tea... It Was Before 7 AM.... Shit... I was barely awake.. I finally went to bed at 10:30 last night and woke up at 6 AM...I'm not an Early Person.... I am slow motion in the morning.. Hell, I don't get dressed even at the time in the Morning I walk Jenny anymore.. I just put on my sweats and walk her.... And keep them on... Till finally I feel like doing something later on in the morning.. SEeeeeeee........ I knew why I never wanted to live in one of these PLACES....................... Been here 4 days and hating every minute of it.. If those women would Just Leave Me A Lone.....................OK,, I think I said enough bad words for this evening....LOL.. Hell and Shit... boy.. I could say worse,, but I'm being nice.... LOL..

2nd day in this New Place...

I'm amazed at just want happened this morning or afternoon.... I am having to go up to the comuter room to  get some rest..lol.. So this morning I got up here and my new neighbor came in.. she was happy to see me here.. she went back down to get her dogs when she saw I had Jenny Craig with me... She came in with her 2 dogs and shut the door..

All of a sudden about 15 or 20 minutes later there was knock on the door.. I went to open the door and there was the women I saw in the Community Room on the first floor.. and her dog on her lap in her 4 wheeled scooter... and a Man standing next to her.

She came flying in toward Sharron and started right in on her.. What ever Sharron put down in the Community room she was complaing about and there was something else she started yacking about.. smoke from cigarettes from other apartments.. no one is allowed to smoke in their apartments... she just started being the big bully I thought she was at that moment.

I then spoke up and told Jackie that I thought she was very rude by coming in here and airing her dirty laundry in front of me... That she should do it in private.... And that if she didn't like it that Sharron left a note at the Managers office... That was to bad.. The Manager should know about this.. We should not be the ones to tell any tenant that we know they are smoking in their apartments.. Its up to the Manager to do that ..

She (Jackie) Just about had a fit.. I also said that If I knew it was going to be like this.. nit picking I would not even have moved here..

Jackie left in a huff.. I would have laughed if I saw smoke coming out of her Scooter...Hahahaha

It Was An Amazing Move

Very tired after getting everything packed up and then having to wait for someone to come help. I even had the truck ready...Sparrow, a woman living in the old apartment said she would help me. I just didn't see how she could,, there have been times she has had to have a caregiver. But, seems she has gotten better and now wanted to help me. We took a lot of bags out to the truck which was waiting for us.. And then she had to leave.. It was so nice that she thought of coming and helping out a bit. 

The young woman who said she would help........ finally came by at 4 PM... pretty late.. then Taylor and one of his friends came by after he got off work in the Market.. Which they were the best.. Love those boys... We got everything out of the apartment, and took off at around 7PM..

We arrived in Tacoma and I had told her I would buy Dinner... She must have thought I was rich.. we went to this really nice Mexican Restaurant and she choose the most expensive meal and on top of that she ordered a White Sangria ... Now come on... don't take advantage.. which at that moment she was..The food was OK.. it actually gave me heartburn... and I have never had heartburn eating Mexican food before..

We left that place and went to pick up her male friend that was going to help get the stuff of the truck..and then they spent the night.. I gave them my bed....... I slept on the couch.. Its great for naps but not for an all night er...

This morning I woke up at just after 6 AM and got Jenny's halter on her and could not find that leash.. Well,, shoot....she won't run away from me.... we walked the whole circle of Apartment... As tired as I was.. I did that.. I just keep going like the eveready battery bunny....LOL.. I may feel better tomorrow.. we will see..

Had to get the Maintenance Man to come by since we blew out a breaker and could not get it to work last night... all we did was plug in the TV.  And BLAMO no TV, No Lights in the Living Room or Kitchen... Maintenance Man fixed that and the toilet paper holder fell off.. just was not put on right....

So this evening for Dinner I'm fixing Beef Loin Tri Tip Steak in Mushroom and Onion Sauce ,,Garlic Mashed Potatoes, and Corn and for a sort of salad Sliced Tomatoes and Avocados..

I think I made the right choice

It was so cute yesterday, As I got off the bus from Seattle and was standing at the Tacoma station at Zone G there was this young girl who came up to wait for a bus. When we started talking. Then we got on the same bus. She was so informative. She went and got me a Bus Book,,and told me that it would become my best friend....So cute... 

We talked all the way to where I needed to get off and after I did all the signing and everything, I walked back to the bus stop.. and waited, waited.. and waited for a bus.. then the number 54 came by and said they would go where the number 3 went. So it took me to the Mall... As I waited for the number 3 bus to take me back to the Main Bus stop to pick up the Sounder.. there was that same young girl.. she was so excited to see me.. She came up to me and .............Hugged Me..... it has never happened to me before.. some stranger coming up to you after only a 10 minute bus ride ..... Made me feel that I really have made a good choice in moving to Tacoma...
